Hoop earrings and studs £4.50 (£6)
Silver chain earrings £4.50 (£6)
BDG top £9.50 (£45)
Matte topcoat Nail varnish £4.50 (£6)

With 25% off Urban Outfitters how could I not buy a few things.. Sadly I'm thinking of returning the hoop earrings, purely because they aren't actual silver and I know they'll go orange so quickly :(( I love the chain ones though (the chain links up to the clip at the back).
The top was originally £45 making it such a bargain, I'm not 100% on the fit though so let me know what you think about this one! The material is SO soft but it's just a tad gape-y under the arm.
The nail varnish I'm super happy with, I didn't even know matte top coat existed and now it'll stop me having to buy matte versions of colours I already have!

Apart from doing shopping that I shouldn't have, I spent the last few days applying to jobs and watching far too many desperate housewife episodes… Hope you're all having a lovely week!

NEW STUFF

Bobbi Brown BB Cream £29          Benefit Oxygen Wow foundation £26.50

Working at waitrose means I get 25% off in John Lewis and a while back they had an extra 10% day.. Thought I might as well take advantage and picked up these two!
I won't do a full review as I wouldn't do them justice but I'd recommend both.. The BB Cream I tend not to wear with any foundation as it gives good enough coverage on it's own. The Benefit Foundation is quite a thin and lliquidy formula but if like me, that's what you prefer then this is fab.

Wishlist- Irridescent Dress

Antipodium £325

Sadly I can't say that iridescent dresses seem particularly wearable to me, not many occasions spring to mind for something so shiny, metallic, sheer and pleated. Still, I can't help but desperately want one!! (Maybe because I can't help myself with anything slightly mermaid-y)
In comparison to Antipodium's £325 dress, the £37 seems like a massive bargain- Why doesn't this brand exist in the UK?! If only import tax didn't exist eh...

SOUTH AMERICA

I've just got back from spending 9 weeks travelling South America and having such an amazing time. We started in Ecuador where we spent 3 weeks travelling through cities, towns and beach villages.
The best part of Ecuador was definitely the 4 days I spent in the amazon- finding crocodiles, visiting tribes, swimming in lagoons whilst travelling everywhere in a canoe boat.

Peru was next, where we spent a month a month travelling South. The Inca trail was one of the best bits (which we did the same day as Harry Styles might I add..)
We spent the next week in Bolivia where the markets are amaaazing. Alpaca jumpers for £6 make it hard not to leave with 4, which I somehow managed to find room for in my huge rucksack!

This was followed by Argentina which we were super happy to arrive in having (shamefully) missed 2 flights. Here we stayed in Buenos Aires which is so beautiful and one of my favourite places of the entire trip!
Our last stop was in Rio, Brazil.. I only got to spend 2 days, long enough to see the big jesus though!

New In: Sunglasses

Topshop £18

On Friday I had the first of my uni interviews, which only involved dropping off and picking up a portfolio. Between doing this, I headed to Oxford St. for shopping.
Surprisingly, these sunglasses were my only purchase.. Since I'm heading to South America in just 3 weeks now, I definitely needed them. I'm trying to pack at lightly as possible (everything has to go in my backpack) so I've limited myself to just this pair of sunglasses. I'm going for 2 months so resisting a few other pairs I like is hard, love that these are slightly cat eye though.

PASTFEWDAYS

I've been pretty quiet on the blogging the last few days, and this is what I've been up do! Preparing for a central St. martins (art school) interview by sketching, collaging, painting, photographing etc etc.
In the middle is a project I did on rebranding Topshop which involved picking models, locations, stylists, featured items and photographers. I actually found this so so fun, hence why I want to do Creative Direction for Fashion at uni!
I also made a breakfast that I'm super proud of this morning, could help showing you it..

Porridge with banana, raisins, dried cherries and seeds with honey

Too Many Checked Scarfs

I have no idea what it is about checked scarfs that means I've bought so many. Maybe they seem cosier, or maybe just that they make a boring outfit more interesting. Either way I've got far too many and picked up these from Urban Outfitters for £8 (left) and £7 (right).
Sorry for the quiet blogging, I'll have an outfit up tonight!
